We added a storm door to our house to help with energy efficiency. We had a custom sized door made and tried to put it on ourselves, but after 7 hours and no door we called the professionals. they installed it in less than an hour. It is supposed to increase our energy efficiency by 30%. I will let you know how that works out. Plus I think it looks pretty. Vanessa and Steven put up a huge spider web halloween decoration, so don't let that scare you!

I have to strongly object to this post. It only took me 4 1/2 hours to realize that even though they custom fit the door, they did not take into account the frame... which didn't fit at all! I had to shave down parts of our original door frame in order to make it work.
It also took the professional installers much longer than an hour to finally get it up. They mentioned it was easy to see why we had such a hard time, and they had to do a lot of custom work. For a custom fit door that should take an amateur only an hour to put up... this 7 hour total project was sure a pain in the rear!
