We finally decided to get rid of the space ship hovering over our front entrance.
After one failed attempt, we finally put in a beautiful ceiling fan. The first one we installed had extremely poor lighting. We looked into the reviews online (after hanging it) and found out everyone had the same opinion, and no one was able to fix it. So after wasting a day going back and forth to Home Depot, we finally got the right one in.
