Our House

Before I do a quick run down of all of our holiday traveling, I wanted to share some pictures of our house. I took most of these photos during the holidays, so you will notice a lot of Christmas decorations in the background.

Here you can see our front entrance, a mid-level foyer area between the main level and the basement.




As you go up the stairs, on the left you will find the kitchen. While we were not impressed at first by the design, it has proven to be quite functional.




One side of our kitchen is a breakfast nook, which works great for most of our meals.




Whenever we have company over, we tend to use our dinning room. In this shot you can see the newly redone window that leads from the kitchen to the dinning room; as well as part of the half wall we built (from the full wall that was previously there) which opens up there area greatly!




In this last shot you can see our living room area next to the dinning room. I think this is the 20^th furniture placement we came up with! Trying to figure out where our furniture should go in this room was nearly an entire weekend project, but we finally figured it out.
